![]() My research interests lie in International Human Rights Law, particularly the intersection between International Human Rights Law and International Humanitarian Law. This project was one of the largest projects ever funded by the European Union in the social sciences. I joined the School of Law at the University of Leeds in 2019. I was a fellow at Homerton College, University of Cambridge where I served as a Lecturer in Law and Director of Studies teaching Human Rights Law, Constitutional Law, EU Law and Criminal Law. In 2016, I joined the law faculty at the University of Cambridge. I began teaching law in 2012 at the University of Nottingham where I taught European Union Law and European Convention on Human Rights Law. I have taught law at several Russell Group Universities before joining the University of Leeds. I received a scholarship to pursue doctoral studies at the University of Nottingham and was awarded a PhD in Law by the University of Nottingham in 2014. After completing my LLM, I worked as an intern at the European Court of Human Rights and the International Criminal Court.
